Anna Golden
Anna Golden is chief executive officer of the Association of Event Organisers (AEO) and a highly regarded leader within the events industry, with more than 20 years’ experience.
Appointed CEO in 2025, Anna leads the AEO through a period of change and opportunity, focusing on member value, inclusivity and the effective use of technology to support event organisers and enhance experiences. She is a strong advocate for diversity and representation across the industry, ensuring these principles are reflected in the AEO’s work and priorities.
Before joining the AEO, Anna was Commercial Director at Olympia London, where she oversaw sales, marketing and communications. She was a founder member of the venue’s ‘Grand Plan’, a staff-led ESG strategy, and played a key role in Olympia London becoming one of the first UK venues to sign the industry’s Net Zero pledge.
Anna began her career with the Forte Hotel Group, building a strong commercial foundation that continues to inform her leadership today.
