Diana Mackenzie
Di has decades of experience in event marketing, having worked with a wide range of organisers across the industry. She is currently doing a maternity cover for the Marketing Director at Economist Impact Events, where she leads the marketing strategy for a portfolio of more than 150 events — from large-scale international conferences to highly curated, bespoke roundtables.
After over 20 years as a freelancer, Di has developed a sharp understanding of how different organisers measure and optimise marketing performance to achieve standout results. A self-confessed data enthusiast, she thrives on uncovering insights that help campaigns perform better, reach further, and shine brighter. And despite her depth of experience, her curiosity keeps her learning and evolving.
Away from dashboards and delegate numbers, Di can usually be found managing the next renovation project at the home she and her husband moved into in 2021. Whether in events or everyday life, project management isn’t just a skill — it’s her calling.
