Jonathan Kinchin
Jonathan is an experienced leader known for his attention to detail, commercial drive, and ability to motivate teams to strive for excellence.
Starting his career in media sales, followed by a brief stint in recruitment, he has worked in the events industry for the past 15 years, across conferences, exhibitions and 1-2-1 Exchanges. Starting out in delegate sales at IQPC, Jonathan has worked through sponsorship and exhibition sales roles at Hyve Group, eventually leaving the business as Head of Sales of Spring Fair.
Jonathan joined Nineteen Group, on the Leadership Team, in May 2019. At Nineteen, Jonathan is responsible for the overall revenue across the group’s exhibition brands and the operational sales function of the business, overseeing the integrations of the sales functions of new acquisitions. He has played a key role in the sales team growing from 2 to over 75 people, through a mixture of recruitment and acquisitions; and has overseen the business’s revenue increasing tenfold since the business was set up in November 2018.
